Get Me Home is the 4th single from Decades and is a song about growing up and growing apart. Get Me Home talks about the uncomfortable experience of realising the people you've surrounded yourself with don't align with the values and life path you're creating for yourself, and the longing of returning to a time in your life where everything was simple and real.

“I was in a period of my life where I felt trapped in the mediocre, unable to spread my wings with the support of the people closest to me, and so I foolishly dived in to the open arms of fake friendships and partying too hard to make myself feel alive and wanted. Eventually you realise you’ve just become another enabler for people to numb themselves to reality, and it was time to go home and face my own.”
